Zenith, the UK's leading independent provider of leasing, fleet management, and vehicle solutions, embarked on an exciting new venture - the development of a salary sacrifice platform as part of their employee benefit program.
As Zenith's trusted digital design partner, IMA-HOME was tasked with creating an intuitive user interface for this platform, which would be used by Zenith's clients' employees.
Designed to streamline the process of ordering business vehicles, the platform allowed employees to easily search for and select vehicles as part of their employer's salary sacrifice scheme. Our goal was to make the platform user-friendly for a wide range of businesses and their employees while providing an intuitive administration system for Zenith to manage the scheme effectively. To accomplish this, we delved into the intricacies of the vehicle leasing industry, understanding various configuration options, legal requirements, and complexities associated with salary sacrifice programs. This knowledge formed the foundation of our design approach.

Beginning with meticulous planning, we distilled the main phases of the user journey and laid them out in the most intuitive manner. Through rigorous user journey tests, such as tree testing, we ensured the platform would meet the needs of Zenith's clients and their employees seamlessly.
As the lead UI designer, I collaborated closely with the UX designer, understanding the requirements and journeys. Together, we worked closely with the client's stakeholders to align with the project's creative direction. The project evolved into a rebranding endeavour, involving numerous concept explorations to finally arrive at a minimal and contemporary design. The process led to the creation of a comprehensive component library from scratch. This library not only aided us in designing full UI pages but also acted as a detailed specification and brief for developers, providing insights into functionality and our vision.
The platform's successful implementation was a collaborative effort between IMA-HOME and Zenith, serving as a testament to the power of user-centered design. With over six months of dedicated efforts, the final deliverables included over 200 page designs and twice as many components, including motion.
This project was an enriching experience for me, showcasing my passion for UX/UI design. I am proud of the outcome, which highlights the successful collaboration between IMA-HOME and Zenith in creating an innovative and user-centric salary sacrifice platform as part of their Employee Benefit Program, benefiting Zenith's clients and their valued employees.
